We’ve done it!
We’ve made it through another summer of YogaPalooza!
Almost.
Because, there are three classes this week … three more chances to get your Yoga on in YogaPaloozaVille. (Until the Fall Session, anyway.)
Monday, August 24 ~ All About The Balance
It has been incredibly gratifying to me that many of you have been fretting about this class for eight weeks now. 🙂
Don’t let a little balance scare you. A little concentration, a little playfulness, a little strength, a little gentleness. That’s all you need. I promise. You are perfect and so is your asana. We all fall from time to time. At least we tried.
Wednesday, August 26 ~ Yin Yoga
Yin is a deep and introspective Yoga practice. Asanas are held for longer periods, allowing the body and mind some extra time to let go. The practice targets our deeper connective tissue, as well as the mind and heart. It is a wonderful transformative practice.
We do have a limited number of studio blankets for cushioning when we’re in these poses for a longer spell, so if you’re in the 4:30 class and can bring a small blanket or towel with you on Wednesday that would be helpful.
Friday, August 28 ~ Closing Ceremonies, YogaPalooza 2015
8 Summer Weeks. 18 Classes. Whether you came for one class, or eight, or all 18, I hope you’ll join me on Friday for one last summer evening in YogaPaloozaVille.
And, About That Fall Session …
Just a reminder, we will take the following week off – August 31 and September 2. The Fall Session begins Labor Day Week (I’m still not sure whether we’ll start on Labor Day Monday or that Wednesday. Stay tuned.)
I’ve enjoyed spending my eighth summer with you in YogaPaloozaVille. Each and every one of you who takes time out of your week to unroll your Yoga mat with me makes my heart smile. You rock. You really, really do. I consider Peaceful Hands Yoga a family – and I’m so glad that you’re part of it with me.
I hope to see you this week … and, in the meantime, keep picking up …
