Just a few teasers before our Yoga Class & Open House on Saturday.
Saturday, December 12
Yoga Class at 9:30 a.m.
Open House from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Peaceful Hands Yoga
228 Warren Street in the Sedwick Racquetball Club, 2nd Floor in Orange, Virginia
I hope you’ll join us!
Even if you can’t make it to class, swing by the Open House for treats, giveaways, and you can do some holiday shopping as well — there are some sweet stocking stuffers available.
Bring a gift for the Wildlife Center of Virginia and help them continue their lifesaving work with wildlife. You’ll find the wildlife wish list by clicking here.
A Wildlife Center patient who is grateful for your generosity!
Lots of door prizes this year …
This “Smell Happy” Aromatherapy Starter Kit donated by our friends at Windrose in Madison.
A Colonial Birdhouse that will help you grow your own wildlife habitat in your backyard. Donated by a Wildlife Center supporter.
Mookie the Cat.
Hey, wait, no, not Mookie the Cat. He’s not a door prize, he just wants his picture taken … and behind his photobomb is this …
A beautiful hand-crafted and framed needlepoint of “Santa & Wildlife.” It will bring the holiday spirit into any room. Hand-sewn and donated by a very talented Wildlife Center supporter.
There’s my Peaceful Hands Gift Bag, too … which will contain lots of my favorite goodies including a gift certificate that can be used toward a massage or Yoga. And, a special door prize direct from the Wildlife Center of Virginia (don’t worry, we won’t send you home with a squirrel!)
And, lots of gifts are available for your stocking stuffer shopping …
including new pure Room and Pillow Mists to bring a calming spirit to your home, your car, or office …
hand-made decorations, fair-traded and made by artists in India from recycled fabric and paper scraps, they are perfect for the holidays and can stay up year-round. Stars and birds and butterflies …
… music … Yoga DVDs … and gift certificates.
My shopping space is tiny, but I’ve filled it with lots of things that I love and I think you will, too. And, remember … on Saturday you’ll get a special gift with any purchase! (Cash/Check only on purchases.)
There will be plenty of treats and hot cider. Special thanks to Dr. Beier who has made one of his amazing cheesecakes for us and Rod Sedwick who’s done some baking, too. Come try one or two or three things!
And, live music! Mark Ward, whom many of you know from the 4:30 Yoga class, will have his guitar with him on Saturday and he’s offered to fill our Open House with music. (Thank you, Mark!)
Randy will be there and will be delighted to tell you about the work of the Wildlife Center of Virginia … how your gifts make a difference … and to tell you about the many patients that they treat (so be sure to ask about the beaver and the bear cubs and the grebes!).
“Thank you.” “Thank you.” “Thank you.”

I hope you’ll stop by – this is also my way of saying “thank you” for all the kindness and support you’ve given me through the year. And, bring a friend – the nicest way to introduce someone to Yoga is to show them our studio and what a nice “family” the Peaceful Hands community is!
