As the days get shorter and the air gets cooler, we should, if we follow the wisdom of nature, be slowing down some. Just like the trees, the plants, and the animals … slowing and quieting. Resting time begins.
(My fall crocuses just wrapped up their season last week; now they get to rest.)
The stress that often builds up around this time of year seems to go against everything that nature teaches us. We don’t take the time to slow ourselves down.
And, we know better. Don’t we?
Even though this time is busy, I hope you’ll give yourself a gift. Some time to restore. Some time for Yoga. Join us.
The current Fall Session finishes up tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2.

And, other things will be happening here as well throughout this season:
We will have a series of meditation practices through the holidays again this year so you can enter into this busy time and the upcoming new year with a calm mind and refreshed spirit.
And, in December we’ll have our annual Saturday “Wildlife Center” Holiday Open House and Yoga class to benefit the bears and owls and possums and bunnies and all the other patients at the Wildlife Center of Virginia.
And, yes, if you are already looking that far ahead, we’ll have our special New Year’s classes to usher in 2017!
(I will post the meditation schedule and Open House dates in the next couple days.)
Don’t forget to care for yourself during this busy holiday season.
