Lots of things to cover today … here goes:

One Winter Class Left!

The current 8-week Winter Class session at Peaceful Hands concludes tomorrow, Monday, March 5.  4:30 & 6:00 p.m. Be sure to get your classes in!

New Spring Yoga Session Begins Wednesday, March 7, 2018

The 8-week Session is scheduled to run …



Mondays and Wednesdays

4:30 p.m. — Level 1

6:00 p.m. — Level 1 / Level 2

Peaceful Hands Fees – the same as they have been for the past seven years! 

8 Classes ~ $72 (take any eight classes during the session that work for your schedule)
Unlimited ~ $120 (take as many of the Monday/Wednesday classes during the session as you like)
Single Class ~ $13

(Cash/Check only. Please make checks payable to Peaceful Hands, LLC.)

Don’t Be A Cashew!

When you bend over like a cashew, the rest of the world thinks you’re nuts. We always focus on healthy bending and folding in class, but sometimes our lifelong off-the-mat habits are hard to break.  Here’s a great reminder from a story on National Public Radio last week: The Lost Art of Bending Over

Bobcat Release!

Many of you have been following the story of the bobcat that got hit by a Prius, ended up stuck in its grille, and was carried for miles on Thanksgiving Day. I’m happy to report, the bobcat has healed up and was released on Friday. Sure, I’m happy to report that, but I’m not as happy as the bobcat was … which you can see in the release video:


As always, thank you so much for all the supplies and food and generous support you provide that helped this bobcat and the many other patients at the Wildlife Center of Virginia. 

Anytime is a good time to unroll your Yoga mat, but there’s something special about the springtime … the sun turns warm and the energy around us becomes a little more vibrant.  It’s at this season of renewal and new growth that our Yoga can blossom into something new and amazing, too.

Spend your springtime with us, won’t you? I hope to see you on the mat!
