“May there be kindness in your gaze when you look within.” ~ John O’Donahue
Three classes last week. Three more this week. There’s a lotta Yoga at YogaPalooza!
Here’s what’s up this week:
Monday, July 15 — Reggae Yoga
A little bit of drum, a little bit of sun (saluting), and a lot of positive vibes inspired by the infectious rhythm of Reggae will refresh you and put a pop of joy in your heart.
(Please note: Because there’s a little less instruction/fewer alignment cues than usual in this class, it is best suited for registered students or those who are familiar with my classes.)
Wednesday, July 17 — Spine Awakening
Yoga reminds us that age isn’t measured by the years on a calendar, but by the flexibility of the spine.
With 26 bones, 120 muscles, and 100 joints, your spine is the anchor of you. It’s the HQ of mobility and the hub that connects your mind to your body via the nervous system. It needs some Yoga love.
That’s what our Spine Awakening practice is all about.
It’s also my annual opportunity to share The Spine Song, where a sweater-wearing rabbit sings about the joys of having vertebrae. Plus, a giraffe! And, a puffin! Sing along …
“Everything In Life Is Fine, When You’re Constructed With A Spine.”
Thursday, July 18 — Mindful Mobility with Carrie
Another special guest instructor! Join Carrie, who teaches Mindful Mobility at Peaceful Hands every Thursday afternoon, as she shares a special class created just for YogaPalooza. Carrie’s class will explore our body’s remarkable resilience with a special focus on hips and feet. One class only, at 4:30 p.m.
(More on Carrie’s class in our next post.)
If you’re registered in the YogaPalooza session these classes, including the special class with Carrie, are included as part of your Unlimited session … or … each counts as one class if you’re taking the 8- or 10-class option.
Drop In’s are welcome, too! Drop-In Fee: $13
