Oh my, it’s hot outside! Come inside — it’s cool at YogaPalooza and there are two more classes awaiting you this week!
First up, tonight with me – give your back some Yoga love with “Spine Awakening” at our regular Wednesday 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. times.
And, there’s class again tomorrow, Thursday!
Join special guest instructor Carrie Heitsch for a 4:30 p.m. class on Thursday, July 18 – “Mindful Mobility: Resilience.”
Mindful Mobility is an ongoing weekly movement class at Peaceful Hands and Carrie has created this week’s class just for YogaPalooza.
As part of the “Mindful Movement,” Carrie will guide the class using the resilience of balls of different sizes, textures, and densities to explore and enhance the resilience and alignment of our own bodies, paying particular attention to the feet and pelvis – the keys to easy, fluid movement.
YogaPalooza is about exploring movement and body awareness in new and different ways. So, this is a perfect fit!
Carrie’s “not-Yoga, but Yoga-inspired” gentle practice merges influences from The Trager® Approach, Franklin Method (dance-inspired, imagery-based movement education), and biomechanical principles.
Carrie teaches Mindful Mobility every Thursday afternoon at Peaceful Hands and is a Certified Trager Practitioner in private practice in Culpeper. Learn more about Carrie and her classes here.
Please dress as you would for Yoga and bring your mat, if you have one.
If you’re already registered in the YogaPalooza session this Thursday’s class is included as part of your Unlimited session … or … it counts as one class if you’re taking the 8- or 10-Class Session.
Drop In’s are welcome, too! Drop-In Fee: $13
