Annette Hyde teaches All-Levels Gentle Yoga at Peaceful Hands Yoga

Annette’s yoga practice began in 1999 after attending a workshop led by Baron Baptiste.
She has been teaching Yoga since 2001.
Annette is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) at the 500-hour level and a Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance. She’s a graduate of the Health Advantage Yoga Center 200-hour Teacher Training program in Herndon, VA (2004) and in 2012 completed the Asheville, NC Yoga Center’s 500-hour Advanced Teacher Training program.
Annette has also earned Certificates of Completion in:
- The Integrative Yoga for Seniors Teacher Training (2009) and the Yoga of Awareness for Cancer Teacher Training (2010) from Duke Integrative Medicine in Durham, NC;
- Level 1 of the Veterans Yoga Project Teacher Training with Dr. Dan Libby in 2016; and
- The Energy Medicine Yoga Teacher Training program Level 1 (2016) and Level 2 (2017) with Lauren Walker.
Annette’s primary teacher has been Doug Keller who teaches the therapeutic wisdom of yoga nationally and internationally. She also has a BA in Communications/Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Annette has taught in Northern Virginia and today also teaches Yoga classes and teacher training programs in Culpeper. She joined Peaceful Hands Yoga in 2017.
