Yoga In The Park!

Last week, several folks in the Peaceful Hands “family” tried out Yoga in the Park classes — a new opportunity for us to practice safely together. It was great.

Here’s one post-class review from a student: “Thank you for Yoga In The Park. It’s been spectacular!”

And, another: “Looking up into the trees was amazing! It felt so good to be outside and practicing with friends again.”

With still no timetable for reopening our physical studio on Warren Street safely, Yoga In The Park, our occasional outdoor classes in Orange, is just one of many ways Peaceful Hands Yoga is helping keep all of us on our mats.

I’m continuing to upload audio classes weekly — with different class focuses and different lengths (from quickie 15-minute practices to full studio-length classes).  More than 25 classes are already available whenever you need them and new classes are added weekly.

Plus, I’m figuring out some live video class options for the weeks to come.

During this unsettled and stressful time, heaven knows, we need our Yoga more than ever.

  1. Ether yoga is my sanity during these unsettling
    times. It allows me to do my class whenever
    I can, for however long I’d like the session
    to be. The classes are perfect and hearing
    Jackie’s voice makes it easy to do. Instructions
    are just like in studio
    Yoga in the park is icing on the cake
    Being there with friends to enjoy the beautiful
    Trees and seeing Jackie make it perfect.

  2. The Ether Studio audio classes have been wonderful for me!! I can do them whenever I like and I like all the different options of quickies when I’ve been at the computer too long or been in the garden too long, or full practices any day of the week! I haven’t been able to get my usual massage or chiropractic adjustments to keep things lined up, so Ether Studio yoga has enabled me to stay supple and stretched out…not to mention calm and focused! I did slip in the chiropractor today to have him look at my knee and she said everything on my back felt very good, to keep doing what I was doing…..well,…I’m doing ETHER YOGA! I love hearing Jackie’s voice, a cat come in on the video, and her floor squeak in her home. As always, her instructions are meticulous and the class flow is excellent. The meditation practices are a great bonus too! I agree with the last comment, these classes provide a bit of sanity in this crazy world….I come away from Ether Class feeling light-hearted, calm, and reassured that many things are still right with the world.

  3. I unfortunately had to take a summer break in July but up to that time the Ether yoga was awesome! It was great to hear Jackie’s voice & she was so encouraging. I loved the flexibility of being able to do Ether yoga whenever I wanted. And there were so many options-short classes, full longer sessions & meditation. I’m looking forward to getting back on track now that August is here!

    I LOVE having the flexibility to do my yoga practice when I need it and have the time. I am actually doing MORE yoga because of this format!

    The other thing that is great is being able to tailor my yoga to my mood and needs. Jackie has both full length and shorter yoga practices as well as meditation only sessions. It’s a great way to custom your practice to your needs!

    Also, Jackie’s voice is magical! I love hearing her just as I would in a pre-COVID world.
